Six killed in Philadelphia building collapse during demolition

A building collapsed on an adjacent thrift store in Philadelphia Wednesday morning during demolition work, killing at least six people.
According to reports, the four-storey building had been under demolition for few weeks, with workers inside the building removing bricks.
One wall collapsed at around 10:45 a.m., sending bricks and debris into the store, the New York Times reported.
It is still unknown how many people were inside the shop, but so far five women and one man were found dead in the rubble.
A high school student dismissed early from school tried to free people before emergency crews arrived. The New York Times reported that one person was pulled out alive after being trapped for more than 12 hours.
According to the Washington Post, the total number of injured amounts to 13.
Philadelphia's mayor was quoted by the New York Times as saying the search and rescue will continue until there is total certainty that no one remains buried.
